FAQ's

Nurse-midwives are advanced practice nurses. We practice autonomously, are licensed by the state, and have prescriptive authority. Nurse-midwives not only provide care for pregnancy and birth. We care for people throughout their reproductive lifespan – including teen care, GYN contraception, and menopausal care.

Pennyroyal Health is considered an “out-of-network provider.” We can accept FSA and HSA payments via check. We also offer “super bills” for some visits, which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

We know that life gets hectic sometimes, that’s why we offer one missed appointment free of charge. Anything canceled less than 24 hours in advance or “no–show” after this first freebie will be charged for the full amount of the visit

We offer two options for becoming a client with Pennyroyal Health.

Direct Care Monthly Fee Model:

$99 a month (billed automatically to a credit card). Becoming a direct care member allows unlimited in-person or telehealth GYN visits, problem visits, and texting/emailing with the midwife. It also includes discounts on bodywork/craniosacral therapy.

• -Routine GYN Visit (1 hr) – Required for all new GYN clients – $120
• -Problem Visit (1 hr) $120

• -Postpartum Depression/Perinatal Mood Visits
•       -Intake (1 hr) $160
•       -Follow-up visits (1 hr) $120
• -Craniosacral/Body Work (1hr) $130
• -Home Visit for Any Service Within 15 miles (1 hr) $300
• -Contraceptive Management Visit (1 hr) $120
• -Individual Postpartum Visit (1 hr) $120
• Prenatal Care Package: Includes all prenatal care and two postpartum visits in the office. $1200
